In a perfect world I wouldn't have Fibromyalgia. In a perfect world I would have an area or a room for my craft stuff that I could leave out and work on in my leisure, In a perfect world I would have a husband that truly loves me and cherishes me and expresses that deep care for me.
In a perfect world my husband would say something more than "I'm sorry I always wake up grumpy and depressed in the mornings." and says he doesn't know how to change it.
But its not a perfect world! Nor will it ever be!
I live in this imperfect, not easy to live in world.....but I do it with His help. If it wasn't for Jesus I don't where I would be. Jesus gives me the strength to keep walking forward in all of my challenges that this world has to offer. Jesus gives me hope when I don't feel it. Jesus carries me when I can not stand. Jesus will help me live in this world.
Started in 2010 during a difficult season, this blog became a place to process pain, hold onto faith, and reach out to anyone feeling alone. Through time, art, motherhood, and life’s lessons, I’ve grown stronger and learned to meet each season with grace. Today I write from a place of healing—sharing reflections, creativity, and quiet encouragement for living with resilience, hope, and a deeper trust in God.

I have enjoyed making Christmas cards this week.

My new "toy" for my card making. Its so fun to give the cards texture and embossed pictures for the cards.

Kyle finished his first football season. He really loves football and had fun. I think he is looking forward to next year already.

I have been caring for a friend's parents. I enjoy helping and spending time with them. Jan loves to do puzzles :)

Sara finished up her first volleyball season at middle school. She enjoyed it. She is great at serving the ball over the net. I can't believe that October is over and today is the day of a new month. Now is the time of the year when things start going real fast and busy until the first of the New Year. It's been a windy and chilly day today...hallowing wind, heavy pine trees swaying, and leaves dancing all around on the ground. I'm thankful that my mom's biopsy came back with no cancer in her breast! Dear Lord, please prepare our hearts and minds for the November. Help us to be loving and kind to one another. Show us opportunities to share your light and word to others. Thank you for the many blessings that you have given us. Amen

Reflecting
Today I find myself looking over my posts from last October to February of last year. I just can't help but think how much better things have been going compared to last year around this time. A year ago with having a hysterectomy and all the added trouble it brought. I went into the hospital once in October, once in November, once in December and once in January. It was crazy! It was not fun at all. It's taken a year to feel better. But looking back I can see God's hand in it all and I am very thankful.
This year I find myself in other struggles, some were there last year too, but were hidden in all the mess that I was in when I was sick for so long. But no matter where I find myself and in what struggles I am not alone. I'm not doing it by myself, the Lord is with me. I know things will all come together in God's timing.
I'm so thankful and comforted at how the Lord cares for his children, in all aspects of their lives. How he carries us when we can't take a step forward. How he gently nudges us to keep loving the difficult and to give mercy and grace to others. Thank you Lord for carrying me last year when I was sick, you were able to let my husband express his care for me taking such good care of me, I was able to lean on him and he was there. Now you care for us both as I surrender our marriage to you. You have been there this year with our tough spots in parenting. It's just plain and simple YOU ARE HERE!
Thank you for this moment of reflection.

A moment of friendship
My marriage isn't perfect.....it's so many things but the one gift that the Lord has given to me in this marriage is friendship. At times I try to not look for it but it is there and always has been. I need to be thankful for that....I am sometimes, I will be honest but during the times that I try not to look at that friendship with my husband as a gift the Lord does it for me. He gives me moments of friendship to enjoy until the next one. If there is frustration in between those moments of friendship, the Lord is with me and will carry me to the next one.

Retreat, kids, fish, aspens & beauty
Meet Karlee's boyfriend, Josh. He goes to Flaghigh and he seems like a really good kid. They decided to get a fish together......I know strange right....anyways apparently now a days teen couples have a "couple name". This is all new to me. They combined their names and came up with "Karsh"
The reason for a little back ground is because they named their fish Karsh. So he is the newest member to our family.
Last weekend I enjoyed an awesome weekend away from home, at the Women's retreat. Beauty all around, good friends, and lots of fun!
Drifted a little into the past when I was in high school. Kyle went to the Coconino Homcoming with a girl named Misty. That's all I can tell you, no picture, no details :( but excited that he went.
Sunday I took a little scenic drive and ended up in a beautiful area.....it was the best way to end the weekend.
