A Surprise Day with Karlee

Karlee wasn't able to spend much time or do much for me for the weekend before for Mother's Day or my Birthday.  She had to work and then her room mates were graduating from NAU.  So she a surprise day was planned for me and Natalie's mom too.  The four of us headed to Sedona last Sunday (May 19th).  It was cloudy, cold and windy but we made the most of it and didn't let that stop us from having a great day.

We at lunch at the Secret Garden Cafe.

We walked around and enjoyed the very pretty scenery with plants, trees, flowers, and fountains.

Natalie and the frog blowing kisses.

I spot frogs I think of my daddy :)

I've gotten into trying out different martinis made with vodka after discovering a yummy one called the lemon drop.  This one was a pomegranate one and it was quite tasty.

So after lunch we got in the car and drove about 24 minutes away.  I had no clue where we were going.  I just knew this was my surprise that Karlee wouldn't tell me.

She surprised me by taking me to a winery to do a tasting!  So cool!

It was so pretty even on the cloudy day.

Love the feeling that this gives me.

It was such a fun day!
Truly blessed with another fun weekend!

A Saturday with Ben

Last Saturday was fun.  Its always fun when I'm with Ben.  I'm always laughing and smiling. We ran a few errands together and then before heading home we went to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings.  I love spending time with Ben.

You never know what will happen when you are with Ben, but trust me you will end up laughing with whatever happens.
So we sat down across from each other and we were given our teas, within seconds I was jumping out of my seat as fast as I could, dodging Ben's full glass of tea spilling all over my side of the table.  I didn't get a drop on me!  I'm like if you wanted me to sit next to you all you had to do was say something hahahaha.....
The waiter was a great one and quite funny....he brought Ben's tea with a lid and straw :)

The big boy drinking his tea and not spilling it lol :)

we shared some yummy wings :)

on our way home from getting a load of water we find this one single antelope all by its lonesome, not another one insight.

The wild life out here in Parks is awesome!

My Birthday Weekend

So this is my desk at work and earlier in the week I had gone to Sprouts real quick in the morning before work.  I was given a free orchid!  I really like orchids but I've never done well with them.  I decided to keep this one at work since it would get the amount sunlight needed compared to at home.  So it became the office orchid!  I have my diffuser going on in the background, making it very zen at work.

Flowers from co-workers

So pretty!

Love the atmosphere in my little area at work.

Ben surprised me with this cute little cactus.  Its called a bunny-eared cactus.

Road trip to Sedona on Saturday!

Lunch at Red Robin, yummy hamburger.

My goodies from Traders Joe!

Let's not forget the wine!!

Sunday! Mothers Day and My Birthday!

Roses from my son!

A nice steak dinner cooked by Ben.

Goodies from Susan, Ben's mom :)

My birthstone :)

Sara wanted to go for a drive.  So she drove and we enjoyed the ending of a great day and fun weekend.

I haven't seen an El Paso Natural Gas sign in years.....I didn't think there were any, since Kinder Morgan took over.  It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside thinking of my Daddy.

I was blessed with a great weekend, feeling loved and special.
So thankful for my family
