Now up to date weekend of Sept 21-23

Friday night after we enjoyed a yummy hamburger at Crown Railroad Restaurant we went to take a walk at Buffalo Park to watch the sunset.  Earlier last week Ben mentioned that he wanted to take me to Lake Mary to watch the sun set but then he changed his mind.  Well I was sort of stuck on doing something like that so then I suggested Buffalo Park.  It was perfect!

I love going on our little adventures out in nature :)
I love being anywhere with him actually.

This was taken on Saturday while we were running around town, my camera on my phone wasn't working and he said well try to take a picture to see if it will work.  Heheee so I did.
Saturday we went to breakfast at the new Lone Spur Cafe, it was close to Bookmans where Ben wanted to go browse around at.  We enjoyed our food and the atmosphere, the owner come over to us and many others checking in to see how we liked it.  We were impressed and walked away basically saying that we would recommend it to others if asked.

We browsed at Bookmans and then Ben asked if I wanted to walk around and look at Michaels.  I said okay sure.  He knows I like that store and all the crafts and such.  I love how he thinks of me and not just himself.  He is so considerate.  At times I can't help but reflect real quick and make a mental note of what was in the past with my past relationship vs. the present and how things are now.  Ben ended up really have in the store, all the Halloween stuff was out and he had fun looking at all the giant spiders and rats and snakes that could be used to scare people....like Sara.  He is so funny.  After that we went back to my place to relax the rest of the day and not do too much.

I know you are asking why did I take a picture of him sleeping.....well you may think this is silly and might not understand but it shows comfort.  Being comfortable and just living life.

I noticed at dinner the night before that we were silent while we ate.  It was fine.  It was perfect!  There is never an awkward silence between us.  I had mentioned that to Ben while we head back from dinner and he said that its comfortable.

As the weekend went on there ended up being more comments about how comfortable we are together and how much we enjoy being with each other and much fun we have together.

We both look forward to our weekend so much!!!

Now its Sunday morning and I sit here by my window with my coffee updating my blog.  Ben left earlier this morning.  We both use Sundays to relax and get ready for our work week ahead.  I re-group with planning the grocery list and meals for the week and do some laundry.  He usually hauls water for the week and relaxes with his dvds and then we text or call later in the day and then the weekend is over and a new week has begun.

Mid September/Ben's Birthday

I cut my hair again.  This time a little more layers.  I don't think I did too bad.  I think I'm addicted to cutting my own hair now lol.  I do need to get a better pair of scissors if I'm going to do this often, or at least in between of when my mom can be here to cut my hair.

a fun & cute selfie :)

I saw this and thought of Ben and posted it on Face Book.  Its totally true....

Ben's Birthday was on September 15th, I got up and made him a birthday breakfast :)

Ben's mom came into town to meet up and celebrate Ben's birthday by going out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse.

End of August/3-day weekend September

Its been a while now since I've sat down to write some.  Things have been busy around here and I've just been enjoying living each moment and haven't take time to sit and reflect on it.  This post will cover from the end of August when we had our "last family meal" (for a while) to the beginning of September.

The day after we had enjoyed a nice lunch out together, Sara said that she wanted a little time with me just the two of us.  She wanted to drive of course.  We headed somewhere close to home, Little America for an ice cream.

We enjoyed our time together.  You should have seen how funny it was taking Kyle home an ice cream!

The long 3 day weekend.....came with Kyle loading up his truck and moving out.

Here are a few pics of the place.

On Sunday of the long labor day weekend, Ben and I headed to the Fair and the Demolition Derby.
This guy is so cute!  A camel in Flagstaff!!  Even better I work with the guy that owns it!  Crazy and cool!

My living room now, looks like an actual living room!  A few old chairs from Ben and the moving around of a few things and ta da!!

Ben is always famous for taking the random candid shots when we are out and about.  Sara was driving and I was in the back seat like normal trying not to stress out lol
