Phil 1:3-4
Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.
I always pray for you, and I make my requests with a heart full of joy.
Phil 1:9-11 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ ;having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
I thank you Lord for the new beginnings you have brought, are bringing and will yet bring.
Lord take up residence in me, filling every corner of my life. Where there used to be sin, may your Holy Spirit bring the beautiful fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self control.
Since the new year has started I can't help but find myself feeling really thankful for the year past. I know I had some ups and downs...maybe at the time it seemed like more downs than ups. But really if I reflect there were ups even in the down moments. And as I continue to take time to think about this last year and the new one that is starting I can't help but notice all the things that the Lord had done for me and my family, all the blessings to be thankful for then and now to come.
