Life Changes

Life is always changing no matter how still we try to stand in it.  I can not believe that the first day of school is upon us.....Thursday!  Karlee will be a junior (and 17 in September)....crazy!  Kyle is a freshman this year and he is going to play football.....(I'm going to really have to work on giving him to God in hopes of him not getting hurt while playing)  Sara, my sweet little Sara Bear!  She will start middle school, in the 6th grade!  Everyone is growing up so quickly and changing, where has the time gone?

I have been busy with covering for our church secretary at times and then also at an assistant living home.  The residents there are so cute, very nice to get to know them.  Yet once again, I think I'm going to have a constant pay check start......and something changes that idea.  My hours were cut for this month and may not even have any for next month.....I'm not understanding what the Lord has in mind in all this.  I want to save money and do things but I can get ahead.  At the same time though He blessed me with several odd jobs prior to landing this one so I know He will provide.

My step-son Dillon turned 18 back in April.  He is going to hopefully graduate from high school this year.  He has continued to make choices that do not serve him in a good way.  I pray for him often.  I know God has a plan for him.

Micah has been busy with working.  It's that time of year that he works all the time if needed while the weather is good for outdoor painting.  Although the monsoons give him a run of things at times and that can be frustrating when he is close to finishing a job to move to the next but all in all he is busy.

We were unable to go anywhere together as a family again this year.  I miss it, I know it really closes up the gaps for a little while and then there is joy, laughter, and smiles.

But as the new school year begins for the kids, it always seems the next chapter in this family begins too....so we shall see what life changes are around the corner for us as the kids go back to school and life gets crazy around here with this and that and him here or there and her over there......  :) Life changes.....
