God is the Lover of my soul

A friend of mine today helped me to see that no matter where this Valentines Day finds me or doesn't that the real true love of my life should be and always will be my Lord and Savior.

God is the lover of my soul

He knows me thru and thrue

He accepts me just as I am--

flaws, sins, weariness, messes and all

He is always there, never far.

He sacrified for me.

God's love is amazing and true

His power and strength

surpasses all understanding.

God brings hope.  He is Hope.

God is Love.

God is who I'm "in love" with.

I crave to know Him as He

cradles me in His hands

waiting for me to be totally

consumed with him

to live with him inside of me

as I share Him with others.

God is the one who has my heart.

He knows my heart.

He is the lover of my soul.
