Saturday Sara and I drove to Anthem to meet up with very special people to us from Fort Davis TX. Sara was so excited that she would finally see and visit with her best friend after so long. I was looking forward to visiting with my friend Tammy and watching the girls interact with each other.
We enjoyed lunch together at the food court. The girls did a little shopping together. They ended up with matching outfits and a best friend necklace. We went to their hotel to let the girls swim for awhile. Sara later complained about her cheeks hurting....from smiling so hard and long.
This is Tammy and I. She is such a sweet person. I'm so thankful to have her as a friend. Her family have a special place in our hearts. So happy we had the chance to visit and see them.
I enjoyed the warmth and the change of scenery from Flagstaff. I enjoyed every moment and took the chance to relax and unwind, it was nice to get away for the day.
